The January Schedule is now posted on the Student Schedule Page. Please if you are not able to make a lesson let me know ASAP. Due to the travel team schedules and other commitments I have students who need to switch nights or alter their hitting lessons. I also have waiting list students who want to take lessons if there is an opening.
Remember to always check the web-site prior to lessons as I will post any cancellation or schedule change there.

Teaching hitting techniques for fastpitch softball is an ever-evolving process based on the experiences of, and results from, his students. Roger Convertino uses Fastpitch Hitters Home to document teaching girls his techniques and drills. The website is also a repository for information in this field. One of the goals of this website is to follow fastpitch softball and constantly evaluate its changes, and then develop drills and methods that allow continued success for students. It’s also important to dispel the myth that there are only one or two styles of hitting, or that certain equipment is required. This website will also allow his students access to teaching schedules and changes that occur.
A MESSAGE FROM ROGER CONVERTINO
I will be using this website to teach to my students and document my methodology and techniques. One of my goals is to offer an overall structured plan to help people learn how to evaluate hitting skills in themselves and in others. I will also be adding information and drills that will help students and prospective coaches not only understand the steps of fastpitch hitting, but will also teach others how to improve. All of the drills and steps in this website are being used with my students.
Relying on feedback from those who visit this site - as well as my students and their parents - to outline these methods, I hope this information will be valuable to those athletes, coaches, and parents who visit the site. Fastpitch Hitters Home also provides alternatives for any athlete who may be struggling or just looking for new hitting methods.

Success in fastpitch hitting comes from a goal-oriented long-term commitment to learning the skills. Roger Convertino avoids a cookie-cutter style of teaching fastpitch hitting. He starts with an evaluation of the student, and then implements a repetitive learning process designed for that student.
